For Valentine’s Day, I got the kids these (good recommendation, sis):
Well, actually, I got these for little lady. Except, I knew the boys would covet them like a nice piece candy, and so I picked up an extra “family” pack. Translation: share. This is how things started out yesterday. Not too bad. I like my children to flex their creative muscles and play nicely together. It also gave their sister something to smile about, and opportunity for some cooperative learning. But somehow, things always seem to take a wrong turn in our house. Me: “Uh, what are you doing?” First son: “Nothing.” As he tapped the marker loudly on the glass.Hmmm…Should I be worried? You do know what this is, don’t you? It’s not a cross folks. Still not sure? I’ll give you a hint, that circle was empty when he started. Honestly, should I be worried? Now, not only do I have to walk around looking over my shoulder, I have this lovely window to clean, which, like a lot of things in my life, is much more labor intensive than I thought it would be. I’m seriously rethinking this great idea.
